At Denver Pop Culture Con, we're going to be sitting down for a live recording to determine who is the greatest Godzilla villain of all-time? And you can play along!
How did we determine the seeds? What made a villain rank #1 over the rest and avoid the dreaded #32 spot? We used three things:
1) Win-Loss Record: A kaiju receives 3 points for every win, 1 point for every tie, and 0 points for a loss.
2) Number of Appearances: How many Godzilla movies did the kaiju appear in? 1 point for each.
3) Average IMDb User Scores: We took all of the movies the kaiju appeared in, and averaged their score. So for some, they only had one movie, others had a big average to calculate between a half-dozen appearances. Appeared in Godzilla's Revenge? Your average isn't looking good? In GMK? Your average just got a solid boost (hence Baragon getting a solid push up the rankings!)
